OCHAR is here to provide the resources you need to excel in your career as a Realtor®. As a new member, there are a few steps you need to take to complete the activation of your membership.
STEP ONE
The New Member Orientation and New Member Code of Ethics classes must be completed within 7 days of your join date.
- Complete the New Member Orientation online class. Login here. Watch the video below for instructions on how to access the class, or download instructions here.
- The New Member Orientation includes a module that will direct you to the NAR New Member Code of Ethics. You will need to complete this training as well. You can also find the Code of Ethics class here.
Once you complete these two education requirements, OCHAR will receive your Certificate of Completion and will send you a Letter of Good Standing. This letter will be needed for you to have access to OCHAR's Multiple Listing Service (MLS) partner, Triangle MLS, or to the MLS of your choice.
